Zadawanie pytań często sprawia wiele trudności. Ja przed każdą rozmową szykowałam sobie na kartce kilka/kilkanaście pytań, które chciałam zadać rodzinie, cała reszta rozmowy "kleiła się" w trakcie ;)
Jak ja to robiłam?
Pierwsza rozmowa na Skypie - pytałam głównie o dzieci:
- What they like to do in their free time?
- What they like to eat? They have any special diet?
- What do they do during summer/vacation?
- Are they learn second language?
- Are they supposed to clean after themselves? (after play)
- Are they allowed to watch TV? How much?
- Are they supposed to help with household duties?
- What they don't like?
- How do I slove problems with children? (verbal warning, not watching TV, not using phone)
- What are they hobbies?
Zawsze też pod koniec swoich pytań zadawałam pytanie:
- Do you have any questions for me?
Druga rozmowa na Skypie - pytałam trochę o nich, o miejsce w którym żyją, o moje obowiązki:
- What would be my responsibilites?
- Do you like travelling?
- What do you like to do in your free time?
- Where do you work?
- Is there any curfew?
- What are your hobbies?
- Do you expect me to have a babysitting? If yes, how often?
- How do you spend weekends? What do you like to do?
- What is the weather in your town over year?
- Are there any sports center?
- What about car? Do you need driver?
- What courses can I do in your area?
- Do you have any questions for me?
W między czasie rozmawiałam też czasem z ich teraźniejszą Au Pair i zadawałam jej pytania aby potwierdzić to o co pytałam wcześniej rodzinkę, np.:
- Do you like working with them?
- What are your duties/responsibilites?
- How your typical day look like?
- Do you like area which you live?
- How do you spend free time with them?
- How many hours per day do you have for your own?
- What time do you finish work?
- What about car? Will I have to pay for fuel/gas?
- May I use car in my free time?
- Will I be using telephone and internet?
- Do children have any behavioral problems?
- What about babysitting? How often? How many hours?
Trzecia rozmowa na Skype(o ile do takiej dochodziło) - pytałam już o wszystko co jeszcze chciałam wiedzieć:
- Will I be using telephone and internet?
- What about paying for fuel/gas?
- May I use car in my free time?
- What about room for Au Pair? Will I have my own bathroom?
- Is it possible to invite my potential friends to your home? I mean to my room?
- What about shopping? Will it belong to my responsibilites?
- Do you have any questions for me?
Nie wiem czy to wszystkie pytania, w mailach zadawałam też pytania o plan dnia, jak to ma wyglądać, co będzie należało do moich obowiązków itd.
Zastępowałam często słowo 'they' czy 'them' na imiona dzieci, wydaje mi się, że jest to wtedy lepiej odbierane.
Mam nadzieję, że komuś to pomoże, sama wiem jak często stresowałam się przed rozmową.
